Welcome to Babies in Bloom.  I am a DBS approved, accredited Baby Massage, Baby Yoga and Toddler/Pre-School Yoga instructor.  I have been working with families and children for over 20 years in a variety of settings including Children's Centres, Schools and Nurseries both in the UK and abroad.  I also specialise in sleep support, toilet training, behavioural support and healthy eating.

In running these programmes within the local Wokingham area, my intention is to provide parents and carers with a wonderful skill that can be used with their own babies and beyond.  I also partner with local private nurseries running Baby and Toddler Pre-School Yoga within their settings.  I also run courses at the Finchampstead Childrens Centre at the FBC Centre Finchampstead and also at the Wokingham Town Centre Nuffield Heath Fitness and Wellbeing Gym

 

During my career I have also been a senior manager in a London based Childrens Centre where my responsibilities included oversight and running community groups, parenting programmes and family support.  I am also qualified to teach selected parenting programmes.

I am particularly interested in health and well-being and have designed and implemented healthy eating programmes and education for parents and carers.

 I am now a mum of two young daughters and so have hands on experience from a parent perspective.  I thoroughly enjoyed baby massage with both of my daughters so much so that I chose to undertake additional training to become an accredited Infant Massage instructor.

 

I loved having time with my daughters giving massage, they really enjoyed it.  Not only did it increase our bond but it also greatly helped my eldest with colic and constipation.  They still enjoy massage before bathtime today!
